Zurich, Switzerland: From December 12-14, 2024, the Light for Sight Foundation will be hosting the 20th anniversary in bringing an educational platform and scientific dialogue to present and debate the latest and future clinical applications related to corneal cross-linking (CXL).
During these 20 years, CXL has completely changed the way that keratoconus is being treated and managed. Now, to mark the 20th anniversary, the scientific committee has expanded its scope to all aspects of irregular corneas, including biomechanics, diagnostics, visual rehabilitation, and even infectious keratitis.
This year, the KCXL meeting will bring together 150 participants from 40 countries to participate in a 3-day congress. The first day will be dedicated to biomechanics, public outreach for at-risk patient groups, and company courses. Friday and Saturday program will follow the tradition of presenting the range of CXL basics to new research findings and clinical applications.
On Friday night, the Light for Sight Foundation will host its 2nd annual charity dinner to bring awareness to the activities of the foundation. This dinner will be held at FIFA Museum in Zurich with many surprises for the participants. As a spoiler, this dinner highlight is expected to be a speaker from FIFA.
