It was a pleasure to interview Marie Bannier-Hélaouët (Hubrecht Institute, Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, Utrecht, Netherlands) about her fascinating research into lachrymal gland organoids, which have great potential for the future treatment of lachrymal gland dysfunction.
