Welcome to the Winter edition of European Ophthalmic Review. I am pleased to announce that we are now accepting submissions to the Summer and Winter 2018 editions.

Authors are invited to submit original research, review articles, case reports and editorials across topical areas within their specialty. Articles of particular interest include real-world studies and review articles that give a concise overview of the latest clinical trial data and developments, and provide practical information for ophthalmologists. Authors can submit their manuscript directly through the Editorial Manager site (details below) and presubmission enquiries can be made to the journal’s editor. European Ophthalmic Review is an open access journal, which means that your paper is available free to view and download by all ophthalmologists from the touchOPHTHALMOLOGY.com website.

Submitted articles undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific and ethical integrity, and accepted articles are published both in print and online. We also encourage authors to submit accompanying multimedia content, such as surgical videos and video introductions, alongside their article.

We look forward to working with you. European Ophthalmic Review would like to thank our Editorial Board for their continuing support and guidance. A big thank you also goes to all submitting authors throughout 2017 who have helped us to produce two editions of the journal that explore the most exciting areas in our field.
