Dr Florian Kretz, Consultant at the Department of Ophthalmology, University Hospital Heidelberg, discusses how toric IOLs can benefit patients with astigmatism. He also reviews the future of cataract surgery, including the use of femtosecond laser and how the union between diagnostic tools and surgical procedures has enhanced surgical outcome.
