An unstable tear film in cataract patients can affect the accuracy of IOL calculations and result in suboptimal refractive outcomes. In this touchOPHTHALMOLOGY interview, we speak with Dr Cynthia Matossian (Matossian Eye Associates, New Hope, PA, USA) to discuss the importance of a stable tear film and the limitations of current methods of tear film screening.
